Welcome to Kakuro-Online! Check out the kakuro generator if you need a quick fix. A new puzzle generated for you, every time!
Or, you can test your wits against others by playing the timed daily kakuro puzzle. Need an extra challenge? Check out the large kakuros in the archives.
Perhaps you have a puzzle that's stumping you? Just put it in the kakuro solver and feel your problems melt away.
The hosting provider for this site is performing some infrastructure updates, including physically moving the server this site resides on in a truck. That's right: Kakuro-Online is going mobile!
Anyway, this means that there will be some downtime where this site will be inaccessible. The times I have been given are 1:00 AM to 7:00 AM CDT on Sunday, September 21. 6:00 AM to 12:00 noon GMT. No refunds will be given if you start Sunday's puzzle and fail to complete it before the site goes offline. Hopefully the move goes smoothly, but I have backups of everything if it doesn't.

You might notice that things look a little different around here. Worry not, for these are not the frantic hallucinations of your troubled mind! I have decided to change the look of the site a little bit. It was very, uh, "brown" before. It looked okay on some devices and bad on others. Which brings me to my next topic.
I changed the default color for the puzzle interface to black and white. Again, the old tan color looked bad on certain devices. This also brings the site in line with the traditional look of kakuros. If you really want something lighter, there is a new "blue" setting available. If you had your setting at black previously, you will need to change it to black again. You can do this by clicking your name where it says "logged in as".
The generator has received an update as well. "Hard" puzzles should be a bit harder, and "Medium" puzzles should be a bit mediumer. In light of the tweaked difficulties, I cleared out all the previously generated puzzles. 9000-some kakuros, gone in a flash, never to be seen again except in my old database backups. Please, contain your tears.
As always, let me know in the appropriate forum thread if you find any bugs.

News! There are now a bunch more large kakuros to be solved in the archives, including two 100x100 behemoths. Try your hand at the harder and more recent of the two
here. Congratulations to qqwref for being the only known person to solve the first one! If you, reader, have completed it as well let us know in the forum.
I've also updated the kakuro solver a little bit to handle single-cell runs without clues. It should now be able to handle any somewhat-standard kakuro thrown at it.

There is now a new feature on the site: a page for large kakuros outside of the daily ones. Check it out
here. There are now four 50x50 kakuros available to be solved, and I will be adding more periodically, of varying sizes. These puzzles, unlike the daily ones, are available for non-members, so everyone can get in on the hot kakuro action!
