100x100 Kakuro

It took a lot of time, but I finally finished the 100x100 Kakuro :) I saved an image of the whole thing, although of course I don't want to post it here in case it spoils someone's fun.

I wonder, how long did this take to generate?

Nikoli's "Huge Sheet of Kakuro" is 124 x 90 cells - would it be too crazy to generate one of that size? :p

That's quite a feat! You may be the first to solve it, there's no way of checking though. I don't even have the heart to start it.

If I remember correctly it took about three hours or so to generate, not including the painstaking process of setting the grid. And this was before I tweaked my generator to be a lot quicker on larger puzzles. A puzzle the size of Nikoli's huge puzzle would be well within the capabilities of the program, it's only 100 cells larger. The next step is a 150x150 puzzle if I ever get around to it.

If anyone else wants to brag about their solving accomplishments this would be the thread to do it in.

Is this 100x100 puzzle available somewhere or did you generate your own?

Found it! It's in the puzzle archives. I will be quite busy solving those.

Thx for this site :)
